Even in standard form, the Audi SQ5 already sits comfortably among the top performers in its segment, it doesn’t really need help to make a strong impression. And yet, ABT Sportsline steps in anyway, doing what it has done for decades—taking something solid and pushing it a bit further. Maybe not radically. Just enough to be noticed.
At the center of this upgrade sits the ABT Power S performance package, an upgrade meant to highlight the SQ5’s sporty side and impressive performance under the hood.
About this particular aero kit, Hans-Jurgen ABT, CEO of the ABT Group, has stated in a press conference that:
“the SQ5 is already an outstanding vehicle as standard, as demonstrated by the great popularity of its predecessor and the current model. With our package, we aim to emphasize its sporty character and offer our customers enhanced driving dynamics and individuality.”
Exterior
From the outside, the changes focus on presence rather than drama. ABT’s aerodynamic components give the SQ5 a more assertive stance without tipping into excess. The front spoiler sets the tone, while the rear skirt insert and rear spoiler with aero blades complete the look.

The details that really demonstrate the car’s raw power refer the four matte black stainless-steel tailpipe trims, with 102 mm in diameter, representing a visual cue that doesn’t scream, but it doesn’t hide either.
Interior
Inside, ABT keeps things restrained. The package carries on in the cabin with exclusive ABT floor mats or illuminated door sills that quietly reinforce the idea that this particular SQ5 isn’t entirely stock anymore.

From my point of view, this approach makes sense. Anything more aggressive would feel out of place in an SUV that still needs to work as a daily driver.
Complete Powertrain Information
In stock form, this Audi SQ5 features a 3.0-liter TSI engine with 367 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. However, with the new ABT Power S upgrade, specifically developed for this engine, the car now develops around 440 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. This is clearly an important power increase with lots of torque, too. As for top speed, this remains rather unchanged. That might surprise some buyers, though in real-world driving, the extra shove matters far more than a number you’ll rarely see.
Other Specifications
As every complex ABT upgrade program, this too impresses with the plethora of goodies installed on this SQ5. One of the most important worth mention is the tuner’s exclusive suspension springs which lowers the car’s ride by up to 45 mm. Also, the SUV received new wheels – ABT Sport EVO 22 inches in diameter, paired with 225/35 ZR22 tires.
