MTM Teases an 812-PS Power Jump for the New Audi RS5

With the all-new 2026 Audi RS 5 range barely out of the spotlight, tuners are already imagining it with upgrades around the battery or under the hood. One of them is MTM, which has pointed to a major output bump for the new RS 5 family. Big number, simple idea: more power than stock. And a lot more.

As you probably know from previous articles, the brand-new 2026 Audi RS5 is offered in two bodies: sedan and station wagon; each one can come with modifications at the exterior as well as inside. As for power modifications, the figures are already looking good in stock form.

It implies that the new model will have an output of 630 horsepower and 825 Nm ft of torque, which is squeezed out of a 2.9-liter V6 twin-turbo engine, the same one that made 503 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque with the older RS 5 and RS 4 models.

The output is connected to an electric motor and a 22kWh battery pack located under the trunk floor, and the electric motor is mounted in the eight-speed automatic transmission. This is a motor with 175 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque, and the German carmaker has stated that the motor has a range of 50 miles with a fully charged battery.

As for performance numbers, the Audi RS 5 is capable of reaching the 0 to 60 mph run in 3.7 seconds, at a top speed which is limited to 250 km/h. On zero-emissions running, it’ll run out of breath earlier at 87 mph (140 kph). It is fast. Not dramatically so on paper, but still.

Efficiency data is part of the same release set. There`s a fuel consumption listed at 52.3–60.3 mpg US (4.5–3.9 l/100 km), while CO2 emissions stand at 88-102 g/km.

Now the tuning angle. MTM has shared a single image on social media and stated the upgraded car will have 812 metric horsepower—that’s 801 bhpor597 kW. Or rather, that’s what MTM is claiming at this stage, before the full technical breakdown shows up.

The difference is spelled out, too: roughly 171 hp (173 ps / 127 kW) above the regular model. MTM also suggests the 0–60 mph sprint could drop to below, or around, the 3.5-second mark.

Details aren’t on the table yet, which is the point. The new RS 5 already leads with that 630-horsepower headline, and MTM seems determined to make it look like the starting line—not the finish.
