ABT presents the RS3-S with a simple promise: driving pleasure meets compact class. The basic idea is straightforward enough. Take the agility and sportiness already associated with the RS3, then push it further with more power, more speed, a lower stance, and a set of visual and interior details that make the car feel more individual.
The chassis receives some attention, with ABT suspension springs included, and on the main page, the company says they lower the body by up to 30 millimeters while helping handling cope with the added power and speed. Optional extras listed on both flyers include an ABT height-adjustable suspension kit and ABT anti-rollbars.
Visually, the RS3-S is not treated the same way in both body styles. For both the Sportback and the saloon, ABT lists gloss black fender attachments and a rear apron insert made of visible carbon fiber. The Sportback alone gets one more exterior piece: a new rear roof spoiler in visible carbon fiber. The flyers also add ABT rear skirt inset (carbon gloss), ABT fender add-ons, and for the Sportback specifically, ABT rear spoiler (carbon gloss). Both versions use ABT SPORT GR20 wheels with tyres 245/30 R20, along with 2x ABT double end pipes stainless steel matt black, Ø 95 mm.
Inside, the treatment is more restrained, but it is there. ABT mentions an “ABT RS3-S” emblem badge, door entry lighting with ABT logo, floor mats with ABT RS3-S logo, and the ABT start-stop switch cap. Optional items extend to ABT shift paddles, ABT seat frame covers, and ABT dashboard covers.
As for power reference already mentioned below, the Audi RS3-S customized by ABT comes with modified power and torque: 460 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque, quite substantial from the standard 400 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This was possible due to the tuner`s ABT Engine Control, allowing 3.6 seconds for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint.
The separate RS3-S Sportback and RS3-S Limousine flyers list ABT POWER S at approx. 338 kW (460 HP), 560 Nm, not 540 Nm. The rest stays aligned: myABT app compatibility remains part of the package, with Vmax after activation at 300 km/h.
Pricing separates the two body styles as neatly as the bodywork does. The RS3-S Sportback package is listed at 17.900,00 € incl. 19% VAT, plus installation (3.740,00 € incl. 19% VAT) and TÜV approval. The RS3-S Limousine package comes in at 16.600,00 € incl. 19% VAT, plus installation (3.520,00 € incl. 19% VAT) and TÜV approval. The flyers are marked subject to changes, status: April 2024.
