This is definitely one of the record-breakers we were waiting for this year, literally wrecking the quarter-mile without any hesitation, the car itself out of the factory being one of the fastest of its kind, not taking in account that this one is also heavily modified and tuned by all means to break records on the track and everywhere it goes.
The Audi RS3 is one of our favorite compact sports cars and punches above its weight due to wonderful acceleration and sensible cornering ability. This car may be a bombshell from the factory, however, there’s always space for improvement. Take the car you see ahead of you has been heavily changed, and it’s currently set a record as the quickest TTE700 RS3 in the world.
We’ve been getting excited regarding the new RS3, that sounds superb when we last saw it lapping the Nurburging. However, this creation is something else entirely.
The RS3 in question has been changed to supply over 700 H.P. And 580 lb-ft of torque thanks in part to an upgraded TTE700 turbocharger developed by The Turbo Engineers, and a fully-forged motor. Those power outputs mean that this car offers over 300 H.P. Over the stock car. In the previous testing, it managed a zero to sixty sprint time of solely 2.4 seconds, and therefore the 60 mph to 130 mph test was completed in mere 5.93 seconds. Those numbers are insane. The car’s previous best time over the quarter-mile was a solid 9.8 seconds with a trap speed of 141 mph.
Since those times were posted, the owner has done some additional modifications, which embody a stripped-out headliner, insulation, carpeting, and remaining trim items. The car has had its pipe removed in the video, and rides on Hoosier drag radials. The final curb weight of the automobile is a slight 3,055 pounds, which is close to 500 pounds lighter than the stock one.
In the video, the automobile is seen lining up for the quarter-mile. The driver comments that the fuel mix had been modified and that the automobile has been set up for a 4,000 rpm launch limit. The first run reveals a time of 9.53 seconds at 147 mph with a sixty-foot time of 1.509 seconds and an eight-mile time of 6.184 seconds. The second run is of a distinct car driven by another driver.
