The top speed remains unchanged, which ABT states clearly, even though the character underneath shifts noticeably with the additional power and torque.
The Power S upgrade comes with a 5-year warranty, reinforcing that the added performance is meant to function within factory tolerances rather than outside them.
Exterior
Visually, the changes lean toward surface precision rather than aggression. A glossy black ABT front lip reshapes the lower edge of the bumper, while matching glossy black air inlet covers and a glossy black rear spoiler complete the aerodynamic additions. None of these elements overwhelms the S5 Avant’s design, yet together they compress the visual weight of the car.
Underneath, ABT suspension springs allow a lowering of up to 25 millimeters. That reduction brings the body closer to the road without altering the S5’s overall balance. The car also sits on new wheels, which increase its stance and stability.
